A multi-split system connects two to five indoor units to a single outdoor unit. Each room has its own control, the outside of the house stays tidy, and you avoid a row of condensers along the wall.

Sizing a multi-split is a balancing act between the total capacity of the outdoor unit and the rooms that will run at the same time. We work that out with you so the system is not oversized for the sake of it, and every room still gets enough on a cold night.

What is included

  • Capacity calculation for each room and the outdoor unit

How it works

  1. Site visit

We look at which rooms need heating, where pipes can run and where the outdoor unit can sit.

  2. System design and quote

A fixed-price quote listing every indoor unit and the outdoor unit.

  3. One-day install

Most two to three room systems are done in a day, with a walkthrough at the end.

Questions people ask

Multi-split or separate single units?

Two singles are often cheaper and simpler for two rooms. Multi-split wins when outdoor space is limited, body corporate rules restrict outdoor units, or you want three or more rooms. We give you both options at the quote.

If the outdoor unit fails, do all rooms stop?

Yes, that is the trade-off with one outdoor unit. Quality brands are very reliable, and we register the manufacturer warranty on every system.
