Heat pump installation in Auckland
Hi-wall heat pumps sized to the room and installed by registered electricians across Auckland. Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Fujitsu and Panasonic. Free in-home quote.
A heat pump only performs as well as the install behind it. Undersized units run flat out and never get the room warm. Badly placed units throw air at the ceiling. Poor drainage ends in a wet wall. After twenty years of fixing other installers' shortcuts, we spend the extra half hour on the drain run and the mounting position.
Every install starts with a site visit. We measure the room, check the wall, the outdoor position and your switchboard, and talk through how you actually use the space before we recommend a model. You get a written quote with the unit, the electrical work and the Certificate of Compliance all included.

Questions people ask
Which brands do you install?
Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Fujitsu and Panasonic. We recommend the model that suits the room, your budget and how you use it rather than pushing one brand.
How long does a heat pump installation take?
A standard hi-wall unit takes three to five hours. If the outdoor unit has a long pipe run or the switchboard needs work, we tell you at the quote stage.
What size heat pump do I need?
It depends on the room's floor area, ceiling height, insulation, windows and which way it faces. Undersizing is the most common mistake in Auckland homes. We calculate the heating capacity before quoting so the unit copes on the coldest July night.
Do I get a Code of Compliance?
Yes. Connecting a heat pump is prescribed electrical work. A registered electrician does it and issues an Electrical Certificate of Compliance, which insurers and property managers ask for.
